The Greensborough walking group has come about because our practitioners have recognized a desire in many people to get healthier and fitter, but also because many feel 'overwhelmed' about where to start. So, we wondered, what can we do to help? National guidelines recommend a minimum of 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise per day. This is a scary prospect for many of us who haven't done much except sitting on the couch for years! Our recommendation? Start small. We figure we can help you on the road to personal fitness by gathering a group of like-minded people together two mornings a week for a friendly, moderately-paced walk. The walk will be over varied terrain (not too hilly, not too flat) and will follow the same route each day, so that those who are quick can lead the way, and those who are slower can follow the crowd. We bet you'll find someone who matches your pace. We will walk for about 40 minutes each morning, depending on your fitness, starting at 7am from Greensborough Family Chiropractic, 53 Grimshaw Street, Greensborough. Any questions?
